01 Definition
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) by your browser when you visit a website. It allows the site, or a third party, to remember information from one page to the next or between visits: your preferred language, an authentication session, or audience statistics.
French law (Article 82 of the Data Protection Act transposing the ePrivacy Directive) and the CNIL guidelines require that any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the operation of the site be subject to the user's prior consent, and that it can be refused as easily as it was accepted.
02 Our approach
Our policy in practice
We adhere to a minimalist cookie policy:
• A single technical cookie not subject to consent (`hb-locale-pref`), which remembers your language preference.
• No advertising cookies, no commercial profiling cookies, no social media pixels, no retargeting cookies.
• Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4) is conditional on your explicit consent. If you refuse, no GA4 cookie is placed and no data is sent to Google.
• Consent is requested via a banner the first time the site is displayed. Refusing is as easy as accepting (a single click).
• You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer.

List of cookies used
The table below lists all cookies that may be placed on your device during your visit. Cookies in the "Audience measurement" category are placed only after your explicit consent.

|---|---|---|---|---|

_ga_4FHNMZ0ZPC | Maintains the GA4 session state specific to our property (G-4FHNMZ0ZPC). | Google Ireland Limited | 13 months | Audience measurement (consent required) |

04 Manage
How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can change your cookie consent choice at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer. The consent banner will reappear to let you accept or refuse audience measurement cookies.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies. The help pages of the main browsers explain the procedure:
• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox
• Apple Safari
• Microsoft Edge
Please note: if you block all cookies, certain site features (in particular remembering your language) will stop working correctly.
05 Third parties
Third-party cookies and transfers outside the EU
The audience measurement cookies we use (Google Analytics 4) are issued by Google Ireland Limited and may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) for which Google is certified.
